About Me
After studying mathematics in college, I moved to Portland, OR to work for an assessment and educational software company. While there, I created K-12 mathematics items which were used for student assessments, such as the ACT, SAT, STAR Math, and EOC state assessments for all 50 states.

A couple of years later, my wife and I moved to St. Louis, got married, bought a house in St. Louis city, and had a baby, Valerie. I have been a high school math teacher at Gateway STEM high school and Crossroads College Preparatory where I have taught Algebra, Geometry, and Advanced Credit College Algebra, Calculus I and II.

When I am not teaching, I like to go on long hikes with my dog, read, and play board and card games with friends. I am an avid hockey and soccer player and help coach boys and girls soccer teams when I can.
